Here are the applications and systems used at ReleasePoint. Some of them are tools that we use to perform our job. Some are developed in-house and are used by ReleasePoint's clients. business partners, or other external parties.
Global Employee Management System (GEMS)
A proprietary system developed by ReleasePoint. GEMS provides a global view of ReleasePoint's staff, with information of an employee's past and current job roles and reporting supervisor. Medical Information Data Analytic Solution (MIDAS)
An in-house developed application that takes a medical record in image format (PDF/TIF), extracts the data manually and systematically, resulting in structured data that can be consumed by other systems and processes.
MIDAS is a solution comprises of these applications:
- Data Validation UI ("DVUI") - This is an internal application used by our Medical Data Extraction Specialist to capture data from images.
- MIDASight - An online, interactive web interface developed for our clients to view the health data extracted from all the medical records pertaining to one individual/patient/insurance policy applicant.
- MIDAS Lens - A component of MIDASight, MIDAS Lens allows our clients to identify keywords of interest with context within the medical records
- MIDAS Connect - A utility that allows our clients to upload images and documents to ReleasePoint for data extraction.
Omnis
Formerly known as RPS (Request Processing System), Omnis is an internally developed system that supports the entire medical record retrieval workflow. This is the core system used by production operation.
Provider Portal
A proprietary system developed by ReleasePoint. The Provider Portal is used by medical providers to provide request status and medical records (charts). URL: https://portal.releasepoint.com
RPNet

Quartz

Tidio
(rhymes with "video") Within RPNet, certain clients have access to an online chat function to reach our operations team for order inquires. This chat function is supported by an application called Tidio.
